Slice was a great character during the Marvel run; he was ruthless, clever and even showed a bit of honor (once). DDP could have used him with the grey costume of his fourth figure (repaint of the original one), but was seemingly forgotten by them. Attachment:

What do you think about Slice?

Nice tribute DA I wasn't keen on these two when I first read the relevant Marvel issues.

I too have always loved Slice and Dice, hated the spytroops version of slice because they changed the face mask, which to me has been HIS THING, his ICONIC look.
anyway these two should have been made into Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows main Rivals IMVHO but hasbro , marvel, ddp, ect never did it quite right sadly

I always thought Dice looked like a rip off of Hawkeye the Avengers character wearing the same colours as his original costume and similar styled mask.

Yup, Slice should have kept his facemask in VvsV. It's like if 's helmet was changed for a baseball cap. Now that you say, I note the similitude (he just changes bow for bo). I wasn't so keen on Dice as on Slice, but I guess Slice needs a partner, just like Nightbeat (TF) needs Siren (even though Dice was replaced by Slash in VvsV, and Siren by Hardhead in IDW)

Oops! Mi mistake. Seemingly Slice (and Dice) did appear in DDP comics, not in the main Joe series, but in Master and Apprentice II (I just read it). Slice wears an altered version of his VvsV costume, that covers his entire face. It's not exactly the net-mask, but is better than the half-mask. Strangely, Dice is the one that does the most in the mini-series.

I never liked Slice that much - he looked too much like a bee keeper though admit ive not read anything in the Marvel run with him as a character...
