You can see why it got rejected too can't you? It's a little more brutal than normal.

It's a great cover that I would love to see coloured it does look very gritty but that is Geoff Senior for you I miss his comic art. Apparently Geoff is now a commercial artist working for advertising agencies.

It is very similar to the released cover of issue #36 http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/comics/maf/050/036.html which seems even more brutal, due to Flint's head bleeding, so I guess brutality wasn't the rejection reason.

If you look the gun is further away from the head on the released one though, so not as "execution".
