I thought some of the SW Transformers were pretty good (only some, mind!), but the whole point of the concept eluded me. Joe TF's makes more sense, but I'm still not sure it would work.
Correctly scaled Joe vehicles (1/18th) that you could seat figures in and still actually transform them into two foot high robots... Now that I could handle!!

thats really what I cant get my head round, the whole scale thing. a plane that transforms into a huge robot is cool as they could be similarly sized but megatron was a cool robot who turned into a gun which was scaled for me... that was silly, same with the darth / death star. I much preferred the later idea of megatron becoming a tank... I was never keen on the joe transformers crossover, some crossovers work but that one seemd a little silly. but then each of us have levels of acceptance of what mixes, I have a kraken army mixing with my shadows _________________ She lives in hope, but she used to live in Barnsley She took bereavement calmly and decided to relocate

Lets face it the TF/Joe/SW cross over thing was just an attempt to sell more toys by Hasbro..M.A.S.K. was produced by Kenner toys, so it's a strange choice to make a Matt Tracker for the Joe line,What next some sort of Cobra/Venom Miles Mayhem type figure..?

but kenner is hasbro...
it seems pretty obvious to me hasbro are thinking about re-launching mask and want to see how this figure goes down before they try a proper relaunch aimed at kids and not just collectors / joe fans...
it makes sense to make them in the same way they make joe / sw figures so they can re-use moulds...

Yep, it was a sad day when Kenner sold out to Hasbro, but money talks I suppose.
Venom could work as a Cobra "special force",a sort of surprise attack group.

Doubt it, Convention Production doesnt start till February-ish. At least thats when the Anaconda Swamp-Vipers first appeared years ago.

The Baroness is from the new 5 pack. She comes with Cobra Commander, Zartan 1 repaint,, Viper and Storm Shadow V1. I've got one on preorder at bigbadtoystore.com...
I expect the Scarlett figure may come from an international 5 pack, hopefully with other recoloured figures to look like the Palitoy ones....Whats shite is that the Yanks get this stuff and we won't officially get it in shops here! Come on! Palitoy was ours you know! Grrr.....Or Scarlett will be single carded as an 'from the international series'.....
We will get the Movie figures....but they look kinda shite to me.....sad that. Toyfare actually has a preview of the Movie figures, well some of them and has the Movie Baroness on the cover.
