I'm not convinced the finger can only be pointed at the Rooski's. The USA has a vested interest in destabilising this part of the world and I for one, given their recent and not so recent history, am not convinced Obama's lot are innocent parties. There is still no information on the downing of the airliner save that Ukrainian authorities are being VERY tight lipped about their involvement and knowledge.
BRICS has upset the yanks by the looks of it and a nice bonus would be unsettling the Russian naval machine in the Crimea. Its wayyyyy too convenient.

Is it time to stop worrying about Russia cutting off our gas supplies & start worrying about them supplying us with nuclear energy, by the megaton, on the 'guarantied delivery within 4 minutes or your money back' tariff '?

More news, as its made, from new Action Force!

When confronted by a difficult problem you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question. How would the Lone Ranger handle this?

Perhaps makes a change from liquidating goatherders and kidnapping 12 year olds at any point on the globe at more than USD2m a pop each time though.

Fortunately Bibi, Sisi and Vova think Obama is an irrelevant c%nt so probably ideal timing from their point of view to mass murder civilians (something of a national pastime). None of them like Qatar, but Bibi and Sisi are closer to Saudii than Vova. But they all kind of like Assad who is, of course, closer to Vova than Sisi, but on polite terms with Bibi, but Assad wins the international killfest by an impunity magnitude of x14 at the moment. The others will surely catch up, but not Sisi, unless he carries out the plan to intervene in Libya this weekend. The Baron wrote:And a massive distraction from Palestine.
Germans keeping rather quiet too, suspicious, all those little subs chugging away in the Gulf of Aden with SLCMs whose warheads weren't made in the USA .... although some of the crew were. Were they given for free like the US kit? No one mentioned it. An explanation must be demanded by the righteous among the nations. Oh wait, there are none, the world is f*cked.

You'll get a nice suntan in record time though.paul463 wrote:That'd spoil my weekend visit to Cranditz!!!Thundershot wrote:Is it time to stop worrying about Russia cutting off our gas supplies & start worrying about them supplying us with nuclear energy, by the megaton, on the 'guarantied delivery within 4 minutes or your money back' tariff '?
Russian mil on Kamchatka was ordered to full alert earlier today, probably just to spook the Japanese and ancillary hegemonial tagnuts.
Probably not time to invest in lead-lined cellars again, but the odd mistake might happen. Russian mil sort of closing ranks against anything other than massive provocation (West doesn't have the kit to set off all necessary alarms).
Will just let certain units bleed out in Luhansk - Donetsk gap for now or support an official limited incursion. After all, their SF are on the ground in Afghanistan and they need to formalise all the conventional kit in the rear area ready for options later this year or next, it's a big commitment along with full time operations in the North Caucasus. With the national pension fund being raided to provide almost free gas to China the cash pile is being burned through.

Its nice to be territorially isolated from all this sh*t. Wish everyone could just bog off and mind their own business. I think it will get to the point when the US will put a bullet in their own foot and that's not good for the poor buggers caught in the middle.

Why are Russian SF in Afghan? Wait for us to leave to have another go?

Monitoring Saudi-Pak infil during NATO drawdown and accessing pre-positioned arms caches put in place during the last fifteen years while training up their affiliates in the planned northern buffer states post-presidential election failure in coordination with certain Central Asian states and their pre-assigned military forces. Already caused problems on the Turkmenistan border (which was a safe place for a long time). Essentially the 1992-2001 plan. It's all public domain, even a photo or two of them in theatre from Feb.paul463 wrote:Why are Russian SF in Afghan? Wait for us to leave to have another go?
The only footnote is that current issues have made Pak try and cosy up to Russia, or put out feelers at least, but Russia will play that game with its hard nosed diplos etc. to its own advantage unlike the Harry Potter botherers. Saud will get pissed but then they are exposed in other areas. Besides, if Pak air assets become a problem the Rusisans will drop them rather than pay USD 100m in cash to keep them out of the game.
