Re: What happened to Action Force after 1985?

I bought this Gi Joe toy brochure off ebay.

Not sure on the year, maybe 1989?

Its double sided, but I've only had time to scan the one side [it takes a fair while with my crappy scanner]

Re: What happened to Action Force after 1985?

- Andy, those toy brochures are perfect! I really want to work out a timeline and list of what vehicles and figures came out in '86, '87, '88 etc, though as was stated here probably no new toys came out in '86. Those comic adverts from the comics are great, too Baron. Anyone got any lists at all al...

Re: What happened to Action Force after 1985?

- Thanks for the comments guys! Surprised that the all-knowing Baron is as vague as I am post-85! It wasn't just me who moved on when the mighty Z's retired. Thanks for the info Roger. I'm fine up to '85, its from the Hasbro takeover that I'm curious about. Most notably Europe got a third year of T...

What happened to Action Force after 1985?

- As a kid I started collecting Action Force during the lull of Star Wars toys after The Empire Strikes Back stuff [such as the legendary AT-AT Walker] had died down a bit and before the new stuff for Return of the Jedi hit the shops in 1983. Hence, I got the cardboard Action Force 'Death Star' and...

Re: German ATT Cardbacks

- I've finally got around to making a re-carded German figure TSATT Hai, or 'Shark' as most of us know him. I did quite a lot of work on the front image and it looks pretty great I think. Still need a better quality image for the back, though, so Meertoh or SteveD if you can ever send me a high res...

Oh man, the Baroness is SO F.I.T.

And the new sculpt of Cover Girl has taken about 20 years off her.

That's a really great collection of promo photos you've collected there! Good work indeed.

Indiana Jones & the kingdom of the plastic, acrylic skull

- Watched the new Indy film last night. The second half when he goes in search of the kingdom in the Amazonian jungle really reminded me of the 'World Enemy Number One' story. I half expected old Commander Cobblers to pop up in the background and start a fight with our dear Henry. :doc: :doc: :doc:...

Re: German ATT Cardbacks

- Having a quick gander through the AF archives and I've noticed the Baron slipping in a few lovely German AF moc's and the odd vehicle [SAS Panther!] recently. I'm really interested in the German line and these must be SO hard to locate. They look great! Where did get the pics from Baron? Which lu...
