Re: Larry Hama & the real Wild Bill

Wild Bill was probably my favourite character as a kid - seeing this picture is very cool!

Re: ID this 1993 Halloween costume

If it's '93 could it possibly be from one of the Battle Corps characters?

Re: ID this 1993 Halloween costume

That ammo belt brings to mind Sgt Slaughter V2, but the rest definitely looks like Roadblock V2.

Re: BAT with orange detailing

I think he looks cool, Jimbob, but I see what you mean about him not fitting in; one solution I suppose is to hunt down some more orange BATS and build a squad of those next :D .

Re: Cancelled Wave 3 Vehicles-Are they worth getting?

Not that bothered about the vehicles (well, not enough to pay a premium for) but would really like the pilots. I have the Volcano Viper and he is one of my faves, and Icestorm looks cool, too.

The artwork on that Sky Raven box is truly a thing of beauty :) .

Pretty sure it's not the 83 one but it could be the 84, but not 100% on that (I haven't seen it in years). I'll definitely try and hunt it out.

Re: Action Force or GI Joe The Action Force?

They were all definitely still Action Force as this was when I was still buying them. I have the Steel Brigade ad on the back of my AF Monthlies.

I've had success with Zippo lighter fluid in the past. Just seems to melt the glue right off.

Most changes to the back though, other than the change in Q colour.

Piccie on back updated to have the wave 2.5 figs on. Commander mail away offer replaced with Skeletron mail away offer. That sort of thing.

Oh yeah, I hadn't even noticed the different backs.
