There was an advert for the first series of figures, set in a small toy shop. The owner, who I think isn't Bernard Cribbins but at the time reminded me of him, was serving a young lad at the counter, suggesting which figure he might like, with phrases like "How about a Desert Rat? ...Or maybe a Roya...

Last time one of his doppelgangers turned up at work we gave him a bullshit detector and told him he had to press it everytime he spoke; he still didn't get it.

Which begs the question: why did they never storm a beach with it in BAF?

A swordfish piling into some dunes, crew picking off shads left, right and centre - that would have made great front cover art.
