Red Dawn is an 11 issue maxi-series released between 2008 and 2012. Set in the original Marvel Comics continuity which began in 1982 and ended with Devil's Due in 2008. Events occur during the GI Joe - America's Elite comic series.

Red Dawn brings back the original Action Force characters that ran for over two years in the UK Battle Action Force comics. These characters are seen in new stories for the first time in over 20 years (other than a brief cameo in America's Elite #31)
